Fall Colors
I love the colors of the fall. The leaves are vibrant, and at the same time you see the changes which are taking place. Trees are losing their leaves are looking bare. At this time my blog title really says it all. Here are a few of the more vibrant shots I've taken.

Trinity

I came across this picture I took a few years ago. I named it "Trinity. If you notice there appears to be three streams of water and they join towards the bottom.
2 Corinthians 13:14 "May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

God's Angels Bowling

I love thunderstorms and to me the louder the better. When I was a little girl my grandmother used to tell me the thunder was God's angels bowling & when then made a strike it caused the lightening. Last week God's angels were bowling up a storm (no pun intended). These pictures only show a litle of the awesome cloud formations that were going on. You could literally see the clouds changing and moving right in front of you.

What a friend
This post is dedicated to my dear friend Vickie who ended her struggle with breast cancer last month. She was an amazing Childrens Minsistry director at my church and a dear friend. She is probably the only person I know who would and could bring wolves to church for VBS and fit God in the lesson. Vickie is the one holding the pup wolf here. She made Sunday School exciting for both the children and those who taught the lessons. While she is not here in the physical sense I still see her often when the sun is shining down upon me and thinking how much brighter the sun looks now that I know she is in Heaven and looking down upon me.

Nature is the art of God
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "Nature is the art of God". I supposed that's why I like pictures of nature so much. I don't need to go to the art museum to see a Van Gogh or Picasso as beautiful as they are. All I need to do is go outside and walk through a forest, field or look up in the sky and see the most beautiful of artwork ever created. I took this picture at the Morton Arboretum this past weekend. It was a cold day and God's artwork was all around me.

I'm a blogger now

Most of my friends and family will be probably be a bit surprised to see that I'm blogging. See I'm not much into the written word and in fact I'm not comfortable with writing and have always had a love/hate relationship with it. One thing that I love doing is taking pictures and sharing them with friends and family. My blog name is a verse I love and fits in with most of the pictures I take which are of nature. Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." This picture was taken last winter and to me shows God's majestic beauty in All that HE creates.
